Welcome to RepLock. By using our app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Use of the App
RepLock is an iOS application designed to help users build better habits and reduce distractions by guiding them through scheduled sessions, app restriction flows, and short physical or wellness-based activities.
You may use RepLock only for its intended personal use. You agree not to misuse the app, including by attempting to bypass, disable, manipulate, or interfere with its core features, scheduling logic, or blocking-related functionality.
2. No Account Required
RepLock does not currently require you to create an account to use the app. Certain app data, preferences, and session history may be stored locally on your device.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
RepLock may offer free and paid features. Certain features may require an active subscription.
Subscriptions and payments are processed through Apple’s App Store. Billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are governed by Apple’s terms and policies. Except where required by applicable law, we do not provide refunds directly.
4. Third-Party Services
RepLock uses trusted third-party services to support parts of the app experience, including:
- Superwall for paywall presentation and subscription-related flows
- PostHog for product analytics and app usage insights
These services may process limited technical and usage data as needed to support app functionality and improvement.
5. Content and Guidance in the App
RepLock may present exercise prompts, stretch recommendations, quotes, mood tracking, and related wellness or habit-building content.
This content is provided for general informational and motivational purposes only. It is not medical advice, fitness coaching, physical therapy, mental health treatment, or any other professional advice.
You are responsible for using good judgment and stopping any activity that feels unsafe, painful, or inappropriate for your condition.
6. Health and Safety Disclaimer
By using RepLock, you acknowledge that physical activity involves inherent risk. You should consult a qualified professional before beginning any exercise or wellness routine, especially if you have injuries, medical conditions, physical limitations, or other health concerns.
RepLock is not responsible for injuries, discomfort, or damages resulting from your use of exercises, stretches, or other activity prompts in the app.
7. Restrictions
You agree not to:
- use the app for unlawful, harmful, or unintended purposes
- reverse engineer, copy, modify, decompile, or tamper with the app except as permitted by law
- attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with the app’s session, schedule, subscription, or blocking-related systems
- exploit bugs, errors, or vulnerabilities in the app
- use the app in a way that disrupts or harms the service or other users
We may limit or suspend access to the app if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.
8. Screen Time and Device Restrictions
RepLock may request permission to use Apple’s Screen Time / Family Controls features in order to support app restriction and schedule-based focus features.
By enabling those permissions, you authorize RepLock to use them only for the purpose of delivering the app’s intended self-control and habit-building functionality.
You remain responsible for how you configure these settings and for any consequences of using app restriction features on your device.
9. Age Requirement
RepLock is intended for users who can safely understand and use its habit, exercise, and focus features. If you are under the age required to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction, you may use the app only with appropriate parent or guardian involvement.
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising use by minors.
10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
RepLock is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or effective for your personal goals.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RepLock and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from or related to your use of the app.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we will revise the Effective Date above.
Your continued use of RepLock after the updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
